MARRIAGE CERTIFICATES OF SOLOMON BIBO, TRANSLATED FROM THE SPANISH

This is to certify that before me the governor of Acoma the unsigned came Solomon Bibo de Cubero and Johanna Valle del Ac this day (at) Acoma, May 1st, 1885 and united voluntarily in matrimony under oath; and the following was [were] legal witnesses Bautiste Chino and his wife Néai(y)se and Don Martin Valle, Diego Arto Valle father of Johanna Valle, Lorenzo Aragon Sacristan, and also I certify that my officials of this pueblo are here present and with the complete will ness of this pueblo we consider it well that Johanna (Juana) Valle s take as husband Don Solomon Bibo and we receive them always as children and heirs of this pueblo.

They united in the state of matrimony this day August 30, 1885 before two witnesses under oath [who] they say that said persons have been free and have no obligations (it) will be legal and binding before the priests.
